Hi folks 
if someone would give a talk about Conference Buddy, what are the things you would want to learn or hear in that talk? What feels important to you for others to know?
I would love to collect some ideas

@ConfBuddy I despair of ever attending another conference. But this gives me a ray of hope: could I use it to create a buddy or pod of folks who are masking and being careful, so I don't have to eat alone, away from everyone?
@deborahh hi! Yes, that's the idea! Due to a long break during the pandemic and Twitter being basically broken, at the moment the project does not have too much traction, so it's not super easy to find folks at conferences (there a so maaaany of them!) unfortunately. BUT I'm working on that and dependent on which conferences you are looking for, there may be already people to connect with.

connection people through Conference Buddy worked to a big part through Twitter as a tool, so it's a bit hard to say how it will work best in the future. But you can reach out to the community by making a post that you're looking for a #ConfBuddy on a conference that I'll share here and on the bird app & hopefully it gets into the timeline of someone from the community attending the conference.
