talked to my therapist about how no one is allowed to cause me problems anymore, how serial experiments lain made me hyper aware of being a trans kid with daddy issues, and being baby (i'm baby).

Tonight in personal website news: I added Simple.css and some basic styling.
Thanks so much to @kev for making such a great basic CSS library.
Accessible masto onboarding
Is there an accessible masto onboarding/wiki already in existence for new users, especially less techy ones? And if not, would anyone like to help me make one? I'm pretty OK at writing training guides and would love to be able to share a resource like this with new users when they log in to the mastodon platform so they can get used to things, esp etiquette things that we are learning over time and wtf is going on. Most folks on earth won't be able to participate rn
I posted this poll on Twitter as well as here. It's interesting how more people said they sign their commits here, vs the majority saying the opposite over there.
Also the engagement is interesting. More than 3x as many people participated here than over there. Even though I have significantly more followers there.
Hi fediverse! Boosts appreciated on this one.
I’m part of a co-op building a platform for artists to sell art without getting exploited. I’ve been working on it for a while but there’s a lot of work to do and I could use some help. A ton of the main features are in place, but there’s still some big gaps and a lot of polish left before it can launch.
The platform is fully open source and developed in the open. It’s built on Phoenix/Elixir and Tailwindcss. Our co-op is already incorporated and established and it’s open to members that want to actually commit but you don’t need to be a member to contribute or help.
Does this sound interesting? I’d love some help! I’m also happy to answer questions. And no, you don’t need to know Elixir already. It’s pretty easy to learn for the things you’d be using it for. Even some design help would be welcome. Feel free to reply here or DM me!
Hey folks working on #Fediverse projects like #Mastodon, #PixelFed, #WriteAs: I'm a writer who's spent 20 years writing blog posts, documentation, product copy, social media, and a little UX writing for a variety of orgs large and small.
Recent work involves the Bear notes app, previously: 1Password.
I can't contribute as a dev, but I can definitely help write, edit, or just polish your user-facing comms.
Can anyone help get this in front of relevant folks? Or point out how I can reach them?
My uploads to peertube.dk (brief videos playing my ukulele as a complete beginner) were deleted without notice. That's disappointing and unfortunate. I'm not sure what #peertube instance would be better for occasional vlog-type content -- would anyone have a suggestion?
