Just a reminder that Bob & Berts in Kendal has nice cakes, nice hot snacks, nice staff, a colour scheme like the kids' TV show Lazytown, and nicer coffee than certain other chain coffee shops I could mention. What more could I ask?

(Not all Bob & Berts are good; this one is)

If you don't mind walking 2 mins, About Time in Kendal is even nicer, and popular with the laptop crowd, although they don't do hot snacks.
