@bashfulrobot it absolutely could and should, and yet at the same time it’s impossible to bolt on a culture this far after the fact
@ivan while true, the error messages are the number one reason I consider moving on. When it works (99%) of the time, its amazing. But when you get more than a single error - weeuufffff. Sometimes it is a rabbit hole the size of a coal pit.
@bashfulrobot 100% agree with you here, I’m lamenting the fact that the culture is so hard to change!
Nix feels like the worst implementation of the best idea. I dream of a community which takes all the good ideas and builds them on top of a better cultural foundation. It’s hard to catch up on 20 years of developments like this and it will take a long time, but I remain hopeful
