Random nerd spiral here but maybe someone will find it useful:
your own water at home using a 750W distiller, at current rates in Colorado would cost a little over $.33/Gallon.
If you plan on using distilled water in a home humidifier, it is extremely cost prohibitive to do so.
The filters on a large evaporative home humidifier cost ~$25/month and can process 100 gallons without issue.
It would cost $6/day to distill 20 gallons - $180/month
