Been thinking a lot about doing some "big" trip this fall to celebrate my upcoming birthday that ends in zero...

is the top of my list but I gotta admit, the idea of a completely-optional transatlantic flight in a is making me feel really unhappy.

If there were better travel options from Boston (MA USA) I would do something like that, but there isn't much.

I suppose I could bus to and train from there to ? Any ideas ?

Also just thinking to down to and spend a good chunk of time in the city. Did that a year or so ago and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
