Finally connected the dissatisfactory shower water pressure I've had "lately" with the new showerhead I installed about a year ago.

Took out the flow restrictor yesterday.

This morning, I am the cleanest, and most awake, I've ever been.

I need to see if there's such a thing as a half flow restrictor. It's almost impossible to turn it *down* enough now.

The useful pressure control zone needs to be larger and also not saturating the heat control.

Oh, they come in sizes? How do I know what size/rate this one is? There are some numbers on it, but they don't obviously match any volume per unit time measurements.

Original order for showerhead says 1.75 gal/min. I don't know where that falls in, like, the range of human experience, but it gives me something aim above.

I guess experimenting is easy. You can buy multi-size packs for like $5-$10. Reviews seem to indicate that 2-2.5 is a good number.

Completely unrestricted is like....imagine a firehose, but with hot water.

More riveting shower facts

It looks like 1.75 is on the lowish side of human shower experiences. 1.5-2.5 is the recommended range.

As a responsible person, I'll put a 2.0 first but keep the 2.5 in eyeshot.
