@evacide Well, the president as the boss of the executive has always had the discretionary power to choose to not prosecute law breakers without having to explain himself... the interesting thing is that Apple and Google and the folks running name servers assume that he means it.
@martinvermeer @evacide People are fussing about this when SCOTUS decided years ago that the fourth and eighth amendments don’t matter and Trump’s DHS is supposed to do a bunch of immigration raids on Tuesday. I just can’t get that worked up about it.
