#introduction I hunt for bugs in computer chips. I was going to be a computer architect and stumbled into this instead. Right now I'm doing emulation work for IBM. Prior to that, Intel and some contract work. I joined #hachyderm for the same reasons I joined Twitter years ago: to find other computer geeks and talk shop.
My main hobby right now is cooking. I like photography enough to be bad at it. I'd like to hike more than I do. I keep a koi pond in the back yard.

@gkemp hiking is fun. And you don't have to be a back country thru hiker to enjoy it. I weigh 200lbs and enjoy hiking. Needless to say I am not the world's fittest hiker.
@Actionreplay Oh, our idea of "camping" is "staying in a nice hotel". We have done some quite strenuous hikes, but I'm too old to sleep on the ground.
@gkemp oh we don't camp when hiking. Lime you we stay in small guest houses. We do do camping where we load up the car with al our stuff and go to a campsite though. That involves a lot more comfort.
