It's hilarious to me when websites call #bazzite a distro but then say #flathub is not a distro.

@jorge I have a question though: if Bazzite is an atomic OS with Flathub as its preferred source of packages, why it Bazzite displayed here apart from "Flatpak"? Isn't Steam in Bazzite a Flatpak itself?
@jorge Honestly - I wouldn't have known any better. Could you elaborate? Thanks!
@jorge That whole post is (like all) super misleading. The chart is titled "Evolution of Linux Distributions Used for Gaming" and is based on *contributions* to protondb!?
Bullshit. That's not a measure of users (as in *Used*), it's a measure of active *contributors* to protondb. So disingenuous. Users massively outnumber contributors, and are way more likely to us defaults and easy options.
Also
@jorge, I only skimmed the post, but it says Flatpak not Flathub. Saying Flatpak is a distro would be like saying APT is a distro.
Since I'm being pedantic, Flathub isn't a distro either because it doesn't distribute the Linux kernel.[^1]
The Snap Store does distribute the Linux kernel, so it is a distro.[^1]
