UX I'd love to see on platforms with "edit post/message" functionality:
As a toggle, with default chosen by whether you've already seen the pre-edit message, showing a diff-like view with color coding and strikeout so it's clear what actually changed.
@dalias I don't use the Mastodon web interface, so no idea what it does, but Tusky can show this. I don't believe there's any case where it's the default, though – you have to tap on the 'edited at ..." text to see the details.
Though it sounds like this comment was meant more broadly than just Mastodon. And yeah, I agree.
@koorogi Yeah not particularly critical of Mastodon, just the standard UI/UX expectations everything conforms to in this domain.
