The guide for the 3DS Circle Pad Replacement that I followed from the iFixit website was a big help especially when it warned me where I need to pay more attention otherwise I could easily damage parts like the little ribbon cables and more importantly where I can encounter glue. 🙂

The only thing that I wasn't warned about is the little transparent plastic piece underneath the the right hinge that use to diffuse the little red LED's light, that only turns on when the battery is in a very low level of charge. But there's other guides on their website in one of them they advise to pull that plastic piece before it will inadvertently fell off and will be hard to find after it.

📣 If any of you see this toot and planing to disassemble your original 3DS model make sure to pull that little transparent plastic and put it in a small box or in any container before loosing it ‼️ ‼️

I managed to loose this part and wasn't able to find it. I know it's my fault I should pay more attention and remove it before falling off.
I know I didn't need to disassemble it that much as the guide telling I need to just to replace the joystick and/or the circle pad, but I wanted to clean the buttons and their rubbers too. The buttons and their rubbers was only moderately dirty, that surprised me somewhat I would assume they will be more dirty. I probably loosed that plastic piece when I toked those buttons out or when fiddled with the two short ribbon cables one for the top screen and the other for the camera I think. I had taken some pic's just for reference to myself to help me put anything back as it was and the pic that I taken before I removed the buttons the plastic piece is its place in the upper left corner.
There's a chance I will never going to find those pesky little transparent piece of plastic. 😟 But if I look at it form a postie side, now it's more noticeable when it turns on than before now shines directly to my eyes, so I could never not notice it regardless how much I'm busy with playing. 🙁

Losing that little plastic made my successful repair sour. I almost can't believe how I was able to disassemble and reassemble my 3DS without damaging anything and still made such a dumb mistake. 😓
