@liztai
Eww worst part of the job for me is keeping up with documenting what exactly I am doing…gl
@EVDHmn I both love that there's accountability thanks to this system and hate that I have to spend ages updating dozens of tickets. Yes, I just updated all my tickets yesterday and it took half an hour
@liztai when I was younger I used to do a month of paper work at a time for all my clients, which was from memory and looking though my own activity of files and messages emails to put my days back togetherin an evening. Soo soo bad at it.
Luckily I could track myself fairly up to the minute. Now 20 years older…what did I even do this week
@EVDHmn I do this all day during the workday and when it comes to logging my life, my brain is like, "I'm free from Jira today thanks"
@liztai
I was just looking at your profile, that’s cool that your an autodidact, it’s a blessing and curse for me.
how is the tech industry and ai being marketed in Malaysia?
Is it a tough job market?
My partner is from Sarawak but they are in medicine and don’t know the tech industry as well.
@EVDHmn IT is still a tough market in Malaysia, but it's generally acknowledged that it's the industry to be in if you want future prospects. About AI, not as hotly marketed though those in professional circles do know about it.
As for being autodidact, I get bored easily and having a massive learning project keeps me happy. If I don't learn something I get really unhappy ;D also, traditional methods of learning don't work well with me so I usually have to hack my own way.
@liztai Oh, and I h8 Jira too.
@Doohickie but yet we can't do without it. Lol
@liztai "Can't reproduce" -> Mark as done
