I've had to delete my fundraising posts bc I got told I wasn't allowed to do that here on this instance. I can however promote my etsy shop. So there's that. All proceeds from my etsy shop right now go towards me and my family having to relocate. Otherwise it's the only income I have and I do rely on it to make a living as much as I can

@mahtheyzhawey do instance admins against fundraising realizing that the most active people on Mastodon are trans people, who are often trying to escape hostile places right now? 
@jamiestl I don't know. It really just kind of came out of nowhere. It definitely made me sad because so far I've had a very safe and positive experience here.
