@mattly The stupidest part is, it shouldn’t even require an internet connection. My car syncs its clock via the FM broadcast. My car clock is always correct and changes the time automatically. I think it would even change time zones automatically if I ever drove to a different one.

My wife’s car—theoretically more technically sophisticated in every way—has a clock that drifts over time, does not automatically change, and is a PITA to set manually.
