Mila is anti-work. She wants to sit on my lap when I work so I can’t type (she is very chonky and not ergonomically easy to move around)
She never sat on anyone’s lap while they were working until *checks notes* last month
Apparently the older the get the clingier they are heh (she’s 18)

@skinnylatte My cat won't sit on my lap. If she cuddles at all, her head is on my should and I'm holding her body to my stomach and chest. It is nearly impossible to do anything with a cat in this position. I type poorly one-handed. And it's always my left shoulder (I'm left handed). This video/photo was taken after years of practice.
@skinnylatte It's also possibly because you're away working more now too. If she sits on you, you can't leave!
