I'll admit: I used Chrome for years. I can't remember why. I fully transitioned back to Firefox a while back, at first for performance reasons. Now that I've got robust ad blocking on my computers and *phone* I am never letting it go.

@zack first I heard of Google Chrome was 2009 and it was "the next big browser" with all the new features and stuff. Only reason I used it for years was because it was popular and almost all platforms/sites worked with it.

Also, PKIs worked better between Chrome and Windows, Firefox had some weird incompatibility.

For years now I've used Librewolf, Firefox, and Brave (recently switched for Cromite on the Chromium side) on a personal basis, and mostly Chrome at work.
