Was looking for a ridiculous build but ? Leaning towards for nostalgic reasons. Prices hasn’t dropped in 2 days though.😭

Want to go back to AMD, but my current PC is good enough for my basic needs.

Don't play much and might instead spend the money on a MBP.

@cnu the MBP line is even more confusing to me. The smaller M2 looks old?

Have no issues running Debian on the desktop and is snappy. But the 7 year old 6700k skips frames in some newer games.

In no hurry though. Doom Eternal still plays >144hz.

@zphds I don't like the touchbar in the 13" M2 MBP. When M2 or M3 comes in the 14" MBP, I will just buy that.

But till then, got a 6600k for desktop and an x1c + MBA for basic programming.
