Manifest v3 uBlock Origin Lite is not that bad as I was thinking.. It even allows to block ads (lite mode) without letting extension to get access to full page data (original extension had full access to all websites). If lite mode is not enough, you can enable full access only to that domain.

All my interactions with the Split View feature in Arc Browser are: accidentally going into that mode while dragging a tab in the list. I have literally needed this feature 0 times. I wish I could disable it in settings.

Found out about Zen Browser today and after testing it a few hours I really like it. Never used Arc but now I get why people liked it...
Too bad using any other browser than Safari on my mac isn't really an option.

I'm considering to switch from #ArcBrowser / #ArSearch on Desktop and Mobile to full on #OrionBrowser on all platforms.

Orion is a lot less bloated simply by not relying on Chromium as it's foundation to begin with (it's 100% WebKit while supporting Chrome and Firefox extensions).

From a quick search over at https://orionfeedback.org it seems they have all the features I got to love in Arc Browser including vertical tabs, "little arc" and auto-close tabs and a lot more so that shouldn't be an issue either.

And honestly, zero-telemetry, first class ad-blocking and a #Linux version in the making? Almost sounds too good to be true

I've been using @zenbrowser for a few months now and love it. It uses the #Firefox engine and not #Chromium like most others.

However - lets see what #ArcBrowser has. It's based on Chromium.

Can I set up a separate container for a different activity in the ARC browser? I mean, for example, having a space where work-related pages are logged in, and another space for personal stuff and private logins. Firefox solved this with containers in the past. Does anyone have any tips? I think ARC could do this.

Najnowsza aktualizacja dodaje bowiem pasek wyszukiwania, ktory pojawia sie po kliknieciu "Nowa karta" i zachowuje sie praktycznie identycznie jak ten z Arc'a

Ladies and gentlemen - I got Windows 11 running in a virtual machine for two reasons:

- to see for myself why people are so much hating Windows 11

- and to try Arc Browser

As you can see on the screenshot - I did and still do trying it out :-) Looks similar to @zenbrowser .

Looks like Arc is really starting to eat battery, it's a report other people have been giving and now it's starting to be something I see myself

This is unlikely to be fixed by TBC anytime soon, which is unfortunate
