This Black Forest Rye ESB-ish ale is a success. This rye malt gives a beautiful sweet red currant taste and my own EKG hops seem to have hit the mark on IBUs. Beautiful foam. Way too easy to drink.
A quare lookin' pint of Lacada pale ale, hi. Splittin' the L in Carrick-a-Rede Bar, Ballintoy, Northern Ireland.

Découverte du houblon Néo-zélandais.
Très aromatique et une légère amertume. On se rapproche d'une East Coast IPA pour le côté aromatiques et son côté trouble.

This is reminiscent of #sahti, the ancient #beer tradition in #Finland, likewise almost unknown, despite being the last living line of a once-prolific type of beer that predates the use of hops. Sahti, if anything, would deserve #Unesco recognition.
Berry wines also go back centuries. One word for the berries used is viininmarja, or ‘wine berry’ (related to Swedish ‘vinbär’). The tradition virtually died out in part due to Christianity (where grape wines were considered correct) and regulation.
