Elizabeth Tai | 戴秀铃 🇲🇾<p>Am at episode 21 of Qing Luo and I say that I still enjoy it a lot. It is definitely not as intense as shows like <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/MysteriousLotusCasebook" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>MysteriousLotusCasebook</span></a> but there&#39;s a lot of comfort in revelling in a simple story of a man falling in love with a single mum. Speaking of which Liu Xue Yi is another <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/CDrama" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>CDrama</span></a> actor that needs more prominent roles. He was in <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/BloodOfYouth" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>BloodOfYouth</span></a> which is ❤️&amp; was supposed to be the lead in an upcoming drama but the actress was charged for tax evasion, so the show will be shelved. 🙃</p>

But <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/MysteriousLotusCaseBook" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>MysteriousLotusCaseBook</span></a> has set a new bar for action scenes: Acrobatic, dance-like moves of old <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/wuxia" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>wuxia</span></a> shows, which I thought had long disappeared. I&#39;m also quite impressed <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/ChengYi" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>ChengYi</span></a> did most of the movements himself. <br />This is a 4.5/5 star show. I need a bromantic <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/CDrama" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>CDrama</span></a> to fill the void.</p><p>One thing the show made me realise was how much I missed classic <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/Wuxia" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Wuxia</span></a> dramas. So many CDramas revolve around romance - I miss heroic, adventuring around the jiang hu stories. There are precious few of them these days. Although the &quot;magic&quot; martial arts took some getting used to, this was a classic <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/Wuxia" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Wuxia</span></a> tale. So you have the themes of brotherhood, loyalty, chivalry and honor that the genre is known for.
