NathanI'm looking to punch up the 3rd string on my nylon string <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/guitar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#guitar</a> with a flurocarbon string, but I play with light tension nylon strings, and I like them, except the flubby, dull 3rd string.Who makes a comparable string? Just finished it all (for now) a few days ago. Upgraded some gear (nice stereo mic pre, some new plugins), finally tore down the foam panels, built my own (w help from bandmate/upholsterer Barry Gray on the covers). Changed the lighting. Nice and cozy. David MegginsonA few days ago, I dealt with the frustration of having to file back my ring-finger nail to save it, then filing the others to match. Fellow classical guitarists know what I mean.I'm playing with mostly flesh right now, and while I'm still getting an OK sound by adjusting my strike angle, I miss the deep cedar Ramírez tone I'm used to (also, high-tension strings feel weird on flesh).
