a hopeful socialist<p>There's a massive gap in the left that I'm seeing rn, where many of the most radical among us seem almost unfazed at what's happening the United States, while the more centre-left progressives are bordering on hysteria.</p><p>I think it comes down to the fact that many <a href="https://toots.matapacos.dog/tags/marxists" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>marxists</span></a>, <a href="https://toots.matapacos.dog/tags/communists" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>communists</span></a>, and <a href="https://toots.matapacos.dog/tags/anarchists" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>anarchists</span></a> don't see what's going on as unprecedented whereas many progressives, younger <a href="https://toots.matapacos.dog/tags/socialists" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>socialists</span></a> do.
