With a few tweeks (to make links bewtween pages work, and images load from a local copy) now my downloads are integrated with my <a href="https://ciberlandia.pt/tags/logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#logseq</a> notes ...Bonus: the free tier hackmd account is terrible for searching, now I have great search from my local logseq notes :)One day I should move from hackmd to <a href="https://ciberlandia.pt/tags/hedgedoc" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#hedgedoc</a> <a href="https://hedgedoc.org/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank">https://hedgedoc.org/</a> but I don't have the energy right now.

Alexandre B A Villares 🐍I asked hackmd.io about the recent imgur announcement they would be deleting images from anonymous uploaders after some time (as images dragged to <a href="https://ciberlandia.pt/tags/HackMD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#HackMD</a> notes become <a href="https://ciberlandia.pt/tags/imgur" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#imgur</a> hosted images), and they replied this: "Our plan is to help all paid users backup their imgur images to HackMD's server and we will not do so for users on the free plan. On the other hand, all image uploading will go to HackMD's server before mid May for both free and paid plan users. There will be a limit of image storage for each HackMD account later this year." Would any HackMD users here like to collaborate on some Python, maybe Selenium, automation to download and preserve Hackmd notes with images?

I need something lightweight but convenient to take notes with for work. Normally I’d just use neovim locally, but I do a lot of switching between stuff that needs mouse input, so it becomes kinda annoying. I know several of my colleagues use HackMD so figured I’d check it out at least, but I’m concerned that you don’t seem to need to pay for single user needs, which usually means the user is the product being sold elsewhere in some manner..

Peter Kaminski<a href="https://mastodon.opportunis.me/@olasd" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@olasd</a>:Trigger warning: not automated. 🙂In my collaborative projects we use <a href="https://toolsforthought.rocks/tags/HackMD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#HackMD</a> realtime editing.We just have an established convention that pages get a good H1 `# Title` as the first line & that they get exported as <a href="https://toolsforthought.rocks/tags/Markdown" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Markdown</a> files to a <a href="https://toolsforthought.rocks/tags/MassiveWiki" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#MassiveWiki</a> when work is complete on that pad.Then we edit the pad title to include the phrase "moved to wiki" or similar & delete the body of the pad so the wiki page is now obviously the primary version.The steps are few & easy, even if manual.
