TIL I learned that when the Highlander's Kurgan delivered one of the coolest lines in 80s movie history: "It's better to burn out than to fade away!", he's actually quoting Neil Young!

Neil Young's 1979 song, "My My, Hey Hey (Out of the Blue)" song was just algorithmically suggested for my Discover Weekly playlist in Spotify.

'Henry Cavill’s ‘Highlander’ Departing Lionsgate for Amazon Studios'

SCRAP IT. If you want to remake 'HIGHLANDER' I support it, but get a Scottish actor (who can actually act) and stop casting people based on their looks. If Cavill is the lead, he'll get one film with mixed reviews. 😐

I'm surprised at how honest the German Amazon listing is about the state of the Special Edition of #Highlander 2 on their upcoming #BluRay release.

"Note: The image quality of the "Special Edition" varies considerably, as no alternative high-quality recordings were available for many scenes. The transition between high definition and upscaled standard definition is clearly visible, as are image defects such as moiré effects or freeze frames."

It really is a mess.
