going out to paint this tree. It’s been a struggle, since the weather is very capricious right now, switching from overcast to sunlit in mere seconds. Despite the challenge, I am pleased with aspects of this.
A mother came along with her kids and told me that I was very talented and I should do something with that. Well, I told her that I am painting a picture.
I think I was supposed to paint a portrait today, but I woke up too late to make it to my portrait group :(. Oh well, I’m not really flooded with cash right now so I made a pleinair painting. The outside doesn’t ask for model money :D. Anyways, I passed by this construction site the other day and though that wanted to paint that. The workers were very nice, too.

Been painting at the levers of power. The weather was dry this time, though cold. Also, I just had two hours to make this. So I chose a smaller panel but decided on a composition that was way too ambitious considering the constraints.
