I’m falling down the #splitkeyboard rabbit hole - and wondering how far I go for my first one?
The #zsa #moonlander or the #glove80?
Or do I go all out and build a kit? (Probs not, as I’m not practical )
For context, I’ve had back problems for years and RSI is really starting to kick in - even with an active gym routine - still struggle when typing all day.
I’ve not found a comfortable setup for my #MechanicalKeyboard #SplitKeyboard using tenting yet - I think I’m too used to the high wrist wrest on my reverse inclined #Microsoft4000 (which I do not touch type on, which keeps my hands very mobile), and this Corne with MX key switches is too high - and with six columns too wide when inclined (center up, outer edges down).
Currently trying a low pull out keyboard shelf (never used before as it lacked clearance for the old keyboard) & chair arm rests. Might work - feels better for shoulders and elbow angle having the keyboard that much lower down.

#MechanicalKeyboard journey so far (I was warned of the risks):
Pre-assembled Corne #SplitKeyboard
Tried muitiple #KeyboardLayouts
Replaced keycaps
Magsafe tenting (trying to mimic angles of old setup)
Replaced switches (current ones are a bit noisy)
Reflashed firmware
Will I stop, or get a second keyboard & repeat… perhaps self-assembly next time?
Oh joy, yet another keyboard whiz convinced they've cracked the code to ergonomic supremacy with a "low-profile wireless split keyboard"—because clearly, typing on anything else is akin to medieval torture.
Just don’t forget to enable #JavaScript, or whatever magic beans you need to conjure this digital masterpiece.

Dear muscle memory— I promise to not update this keyboard's keymap for at least the next month to give you a chance to get used to all the new key assignments and combos. Sincerely...
I’m really happy with my new notebook.
It is nearly 1kg lighter than my previous one which makes great to carry with me.
This makes it easier to bring my #ZSA Voyager with me.
The internal keyboard of the new notebook is a little bit recessed into the body, so unlike with the previous notebook I don’t have to disable it while using the Voyager on top of it.
This week I got the little angled USB-C cable to connect to the notebook and in a few days a curled cable should arrive which improves this setup even further.
