@Bandie Oryx Pro 5, I honestly hate it. It's stupidly inefficient.

It gets so hot you can't even touch the trackpad. I had to disable its nvidia GPU since it was unusable and drawing more heat and power. I think I really should've gotten the AMD based model, it's lighter, and more efficient, and can charge through USB C.

I originally got it because I heard it was good for gaming, but since having the Steam Deck I realize that this computer just isn't worth it. Also I heard about the Intel ME conspiracy and wanted one that disabled it, I hadn't yet seen the debuk on that so I thought it was a valid concern. Had I seen that I may not have even considered this one, or even an Intel (intel sucks, gets hot, is bad in general, #TeamRed #AMD).

I'll still probably keep using it until it eventually dies, but I do plan on replacing it with a better one, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Built a PC for ! Went with this time. Is fast and quiet! My older workstation was a wind tunnel.

Transplanting the GPU from the older box weirdly broke it. Took me 2 days to narrow down that it was my faulty GPU causing random crashes in the new system. Hopefully the RMA isn’t too painful.
