I have lived and taught Science and Math in Kenya at a rural, poor, Harambee Girls School about 100 miles north of Nairobi. Moreover, I grew up in abject poverty in the US. Homeless at times. Living in the back of a Ford pickup and squatting in abandoned ranch houses. I grew up in abject poverty. Homeless at times. Moreover, they project what they have been exposed to and beLIEve it will just continue.
