Is anyone here using #XQuartz 2.8.5 on #MacOS 15? I can't leave remote terminals and applications open since I updated the MacOS. They get killed after some interval of time away. I haven't been able to figure out how long, or if it's just a function of spending too long away from XQuartz.
It's a nuisance.
I recall this sort of thing happening in the past. Some update, presumably in XQuartz, fixed it then. I probably have to be patient.
O' Wise #Fediverse, please answer my question *tosses three chicken heads into the chalk-drawn pentagram*.
If I want to display #Ubuntu GUI apps on my #Macbook, is #Xquartz and #X11 still the way to go? Or has something better come along?

Yup, turns out #XQuartz is still a thing and is Apple Silicon native
