People are having their payment dates changed out of nowhere. Many people, even if they do get paid their disability or Social Security benefits this month, may get their funds extremely late, putting things like their housing at risk:

Red Alert: People all already reporting on various subreddits that they aren't getting their Social Security or Disability payments at their usual times.

Huge Mutual Aid Request For Survival
Where I currently Live it is no longer safe to be transgender My Life is in danger the longer i stay here. Currently getting ready to get an updated ID cause my old one is expired and then applying for a passport.
My partner of 10+ years and her family are more then happy to give me a safe loving home where she lives and we wanna get married and finally live together. The sheer cost of this is enormous. I am currently a Disabled Transgirl who does not get enough each month due to the cost of living alone so i have no way to save money.
While i plan on selling literally everything i have to scrape together what little i can i will still need money to cover many other expenses ie daily needs like chipping in with food, necessities like medical needs ill have to pay for till i can get settled in etc.
I never like having to ask for anything as this is over $10k i will need overall. Myself and countless other transfolxs are trying to scramble to survive i just happen to luck out and have a safe place to go but for now its just getting to that place.
So i am begging so many wonderful smol beans on the fediverse please donate if possible and if not please boost and share as my life depends on this.
Apparently, I need to order my repeat meds "at least 5 (working?) days before they are due." The GP needs 48 hours to do their bit and then the pharmacy need 48 hours to do theirs.
Fine.
But if I order 8 (calendar) days in advance, that's too early, and they won't pass it to the pharmacy until the day I should start taking them.
To avoid stockpiling.
So I'm now thinking about how to create a stockpile.
To avoid withdrawal.
The Administraton for Community living, the federal agency for elderly adults and disabled people, to be disbanded due to HHS cuts and it's critical programs integrated into other HHS agencies. The department didn't say which programs were critical and which ones will be eliminated.

Whenever I have to do some kind of two-factor authentification with a time limit, I wonder how people who are slower to type or move between one device and another can log in.
I don't personally have this issue at the moment, but some of these timers, like on #Google Authenticator, are short enough that I worry about making it in time. I just got a 2:30 verification timer for a different login, which seems unreasonably short.
AI won’t solve #accessibility, but there’s a fair chance that AI will solve #disability.
