Enjoyed the film circuit premier of The Ladder, a family drama #scifi feature set in Ketchikan, #alaska. Directed by 24 year old NYU film school grad Emilio Miguel Torres. Catch it if you can!

Just returned from the read-out protest against #NorthDakota #SB2307. This was my little corner of the protest. About 100 people overall circled the Fargo Public Library downtown, braving 20 degree cold and icy sidewalks to quietly make their collective voice heard.

About a dozen people are seated outdoors along a bench, snow and ice covering the ground, reading a book. In foreground is the book The Ukraine by Artem Chapeye. A sign says Read A Book Get Educated.

Got back to #FargoNd from Manchester UK late last night. Walked a mile in -5F temperatures to the long term car park, only to turn around and walk back after I found my car blocked in by plowed snow.
I was able to dig it out this morning in about 20 minutes, but I'm still pissed.

I am shocked and in mourning at the loss of Bernbaum's nordic-jewish deli in #FargoNd.
I am already craving their #vegan reuben.
Don't ever take your favorite #restaurants for granted.

This is the second downtown-defining business to close recently (the other was Zanbroz Variety). So bummed.
