Dear #gophers and #golang connoisseurs,

As a non-coder I've recently started working on a small project to get a better grasp of Golang.

gitea.ligthert.net/golang/sudo

As I am not a programmer by trade and my use of Go is currently in a hobby phase, I would kindly like to ask you to provide me feedback. Are there any hints, tips, and/or pointers you can direct me towards to improve my coding. Or is there anything you see in the code that could be done different or be improved?

Thanks in advance. 🙂

How gophers brought Mount St. Helens back to life in one day phys.org/news/2024-11-gophers-

"When #MountStHelens erupted in 1980, lava incinerated anything living for miles around. As an experiment, scientists later dropped #gophers onto parts of the mountain for only 24 hours. The benefits from that single day were undeniable—and still visible 40 years later... scientists theorized that, by digging up beneficial #bacteria and #fungi, gophers might be able to help regenerate lost life on the mountain"

Today I took the time to update the NEWS file. Here are some features that where added to w3m since I forked it:

- Allow to limit the text width with -cols or through an option
- Enable re-ordering of buffers in the stack menu
- Add support for gophers, gopher with SSL
- Allow to close the last buffer with BACK
- Prepend https instead of http if no scheme is provided
- Allow to change the dictionay prompt
- Make 'skip to content' links work
- Add command to jump to the <main> tag

See git.sr.ht/~rkta/w3m/tree/maste for the complete list.

Thanks to all the contributors who send in patches and helped testing.
