How many games would you say one should play before they could say they ranked up?
It's easy to go up a rank, but lose it. So I'm basically asking how many games do you think it takes to say the new rank is stable
@ollieverse @RickiTarr Intriguingly, the same order of priorities applies when struggling for control of a corner of the board in the game of Go. Escape into the open if possible, make a defensible fortress if not, and as a last resort attack the attacker.
Used to play #baduk on OGS, and just felt like a bad player because even at the minimal level I was at (20k-18k) I kept getting beaten by everyone except sometimes people who were the same level as me. Now I'm playing on GoQuest and I really feel like I'm making progress, I'm really enjoying seeing my rating curve go up. Maybe it's just because I haven't plateaued yet, but at least when I do plateau it won't be at one of the lowest levels x)
