And the dehydrated onion slices are concentrated onion flavor with a long shelf life. It’s a big year for the onions. We have been planting the onion starts out this week, at the same time we are almost out of the 2024 whole onion crop. The US Department of Justice is threatening to withhold federal funding from Minnesota if the state doesn’t reverse its policy allowing transgender women and girls to participate in female sports, the state said in a complaint filed Tuesday.
Minnesota’s Human Rights Act prohibits discrimination on the basis of someone’s gender identity or expression, and President Donald Trump’s executive order banning transgender women in female sports.
#Minnesota became the first state on Tues to sue the #DOJ over its threats to cut federal #funding to states that allow #transgender girls & women to participate on sports teams that correspond w/their #gender #identity.
The suit from Keith Ellison, MN’s AG, said that 2 of #Trump’s #ExecutiveOrders & enforcement letters from the DOJ violated state #sovereignty rights under the #10thAmendment, usurped the power of #Congress & violated the #AdministrativeProcedureAct.

I'm at St. Croix State Park for this week's video! The park is the largest in the MN system and has over 127 miles (!) of trails. The portion I did, where the Kettle River converges with the St. Croix, was super scenic.
A fun bear story is told.
If you're in northern #Minnesota, Most of the trails are quite runnable and would be great for even the least-experienced of trail runners.
