I almost forgot the #pyconit community voting is closing today at midnight UTC.
If you are going and have not voted, yet - today is your last chance to take a peek and decide on the offerings.

We opened the sale of @pycon tickets yesterday and there are already only 2 tickets left for “Personal Early” fare (and 80 for the “Business Early”). I suggest to get them while available because prices will go up as soon as they run out https://2025.pycon.it/en/tickets
I've posted my final blog post from my #pyconit keynote. This time, we investigate one of the most heated discussions about LLMs: are they actually showing signs of human-level intelligence?
https://t-redactyl.io/blog/2024/07/are-llms-on-the-path-to-agi.html
Have you ever wondered whether claims of #LLMs being #sentient hold any water? I've published the second blog post from my #pyconit keynote, where I discuss this complex and fascinating area.
https://t-redactyl.io/blog/2024/07/could-llms-be-sentient.html
I've written up the first part of my #pyconit keynote talk as a blog post (finally back to writing for my personal blog!).
If you are curious about whether #language use in #LLMs is really reaching human-like levels, give it a read!

Back from #PyConIT yesterday.
I learned a lot about the FastAPI/pydantic/starlette/uvicorn world direct from the source as well as about OpenTelemetry:
I already fixed my current Pydantic v1->v2 problems today with hints from hallway & sponsor chatting and it's always amazing to talk to the people who write the software you're using.
Also finally played the CABO game, that @treyhunner's has been hyping forever. @mathsppblog brought it from PyConUS and taught it. It's really a lot of fun!
Thanks so much to the wonderful organisers of #pyconit. It was such a great week in beautiful #florence with lovely friends, wonderful talks and ... did I mention the incredible food?
An extra thanks for inviting me to do a keynote and for hosting #humbledata!
