But there’s a problem. These posts often favor quick outrage over real discussion. Social media boosts the loudest, most divisive voices, making us more divided.
We should view social media critically and remember that real-life talks and actions still matter most for creating change and understanding.

I have been on this planet for 53 years, and I have never been this sad, angry, and embarrassed to be an American.
And I've been through Reagan, two Bush admins, and the first go round of this fucker.
And JFC, the Dems. I know they're limited in what they can do legislatively, and the courts move too fucking slow, but FFS, get out there and make a scene and get yourself arrested or *something*.

Oh, you dirty fuckers…
One of my doctors' offices called me to try to reschedule an appointment because the doctor won't be available that day. I was busy working on something in another room when the call came in.
Per the voicemail they leve, I called them back to reschedule the appoint ment. I placed my call at 11:40. Navigated the call tree and got in queue for the appointment-scheduler. Before placing me in queue, the IVR noted that the operators become unavailable between 1200 and 1300 for lunch. I figure, "fine. Whatever. That's 20 minutes from now".
Nearly twenty minutes pass. At 11:59:xx, the IVR informs me, "you're next in queue". Then, not a full second after it says the last word of that "next" notice, the clock goes to 12:00:00 and the line is hung up.

Today is a #research and #learning day as well as setting up more utilities I may need in the future.
Doing all the stuff in the background that I will actually need or will make my life easier in the future. The silent stuff that isn't spectacular.
I need a rest quite frankly.
I think I learned more in like two weeks at 31 than I did in all of high school, and did a lot of work.
I guess I do get days off, I just have to choose.
Hear, hear!
