И снова всем привет, не ждали? :) В предыдущих статьях я описал почти всё что можно было описать, но самую важную часть упустил из виду. Мало того - я эту часть упустил в целом, за всё время работы над проектом :( А дело в наглядности. Все желают видеть цифры. Даже не думал делать никаких сравнительных таблиц, но вот сегодня наткнулся на готовую таблицу от автора лучшей программы для 341 под линукс - IMSProg. Изучил таблицу и решил, что и мне таблица для наглядного сравнения параметров всё-таки нужна, и сделал на её основе свой вариант. Огромная благодарность её автору за тесты и готовый материал для сравнения! Часть первая - скорость работы.

Доброго всем времени ночи:) 9 месяцев назад я выпустил программатор BIOS-ов для компов и запилил о нём статью . Тогда на момент выпуска статьи он был довольно сырым, и до законченного продукта по части функционала добрался чуть менее месяца назад. Здесь же я хочу рассказать как всё это происходило, какие были трудности, и всякое прочее) В целом было очень много всякого, что по разным причинам не вошло в данную статью, но некоторые моменты постараюсь описать здесь.

Bei Werten zwischen -1,5 und 2,0 spricht man beim SPI von einer schweren Dürre.

A technical question about SPI. I'm looking at a machine, that has 5 SPI peripherals and a controller. The same CS signal is connected to all of the peripherals.
Am I correct in my thinking that if I would want to reshuffle the devices without access to the firmware in the controller, I'm basically out of luck since it pushes data to all the peripherals with the expectation that the first one takes its piece, forwards the rest to the second and and so forth until everyone has had their share?
If I were crowned King of Embedded Programming my very first decree would be this:
If you make a peripheral that accepts commands and returns data (like SPI Flash, say), you *will* provide a command that will verify communications has been accomplished by providing a command to store an arbitrary piece data and another that retrieves that data. (A scratch register, in short.)
Failure to provide such functionality would be punishable by imprisonment.
