Lots for tech. I'm working IT at an E commerce place, there's an IBM office in town, Lexmark HQ, State Government is near by, and tons of little tech start ups have started popping up trying to catch some of the college graduates.
Also a Toyota plant, Valvoline HQ, and Jiff (peanut butter) plant in town and tons of hospitals and universities.
Lexington is kinda booming and isn't the worst for COL. Lots of reasons I haven't gone home or gone bigger

How's he culture out there? I got a friend in NorCal who's not doing there and wants to go somewhere different but not back to Missouri but he's not exactly your cishet normie type bro, you know.

I'm from West Kentucky close to the Missouri border.
Lexington was the first city in Kentucky to pass anti discrimination laws for LGBTQ folk in 1999.
Plenty of LGBT places and our pride fest is pretty lit. I've been trying to get involved with the Pride Center for a bit but I have a hard time syncing my schedule.
My fiance has been trying to get to a Queer Craft Day at the library for a while.
So pretty good for queer stuff.

@Nagaram thinking of how much the stuff I make costs in comparison to the time I spent making it and how much I make in an hour is depressing but enlightening
