@vnglst I went through my twitter archive (not on there any more) and I'd said back then it was inspired by this: https://twitter.com/CasualEffects/status/1390290306206216196 which in turn copied some pico8 program (I don't have a link further back)
@bazzargh nice find! I think the principle opens up many other variants. Multiple balls (earth, wind, fire and water?) adding gravity, resistance, bouncing.
But then again simple is probably best.
@vnglst for me, simple was a necessity - I omitted the two bats because I couldn't fit the code for that into a single tweet! The same would apply to the pico8 original; it's what I like about this stuff, coding with constraints makes you think hard to get anything done
