@cbleslie @thomasfuchs OS. Application. Apps to use it (for some classes of things). Hardware (if self hosted). DNS. Backup jobs. Testing that backups work. Noticing when something gets overloaded. Having a plan for reinstalling the software when upgrading OS, if the software project is still maintained and installable.

I have had email continuously with one provider since mid 1990s. It is not a job or a risk because I pay someone else to handle it. That's what I think about.
