Non billionaire Americans need a hero.
It can be a real hero that they choose to rally around. It can be a created hero like Ned Ludd (look up the history of the Luddites for a really interesting tidbit of history if you don't know this one).
It can be a real figure that they make larger than life. Now that Luigi is in prison and a real person, turning the super Mario luigi into a symbolic hero would do.
It can be a political figure they agree to rally around - maybe like AOC.
I don't think it matters. But they need a hero that excites people and becomes a symbol of resistance.
Artists can spray paint this hero everywhere and people, as they go about their daily lives are reminded of resisting. Not giving the info away, not letting ICE onto the bus... whatever it is.
They need a hero that becomes a symbol of hope.
@chu if you make it a real person in public office, they will most likely be assassinated. Don't pick a real person.
It seems the most obvious choice. People already started spray painting that cartoon luigi on things. It's already hugely symbolic of a very real class war. It's already a well loved character, now with added meaning.
People need to get T shirts, just randomly post it to social media every so often, spray paint it on places. Make buttons, etc etc.
A constant reminder of the class war is necessary for resistance.
Another thought. Someone on the ground (or a group of people b/c it'll be a big task), should create "Luigi" social media accounts and go heavy and hard on the anti billionaire propaganda. It'll be banned from X in a heart beat, but could stand a chance a little longer on some of the others. It would also be an account where people can send information to be shared etc.
I know there are already people sort of doing this, but the anonymity and the symbolism will be important. It'll also be a place where people know they can send info as opposed to individual accounts and hope.
