Fedi needs moderation that works, or it’s going to just end up being a shitty little drainage ditch trickling out the ugly end of the internet.

Whatever this is that @vkc is experiencing, it’s sure as hell not something I would describe as a working moderation system.

Folks in the comments started sexually harassing me, and when someone pushed back, the harassers said that they have fun harassing me. My favorite* part of this is that because I'd blocked them, they could carry on talking about how fun it is to harass me and I couldn't see it. --- * I don't love this

@inthehands Have you seen how it works on BlueSky? You can subscribe to different moderation services, which can mark any post or user how they choose. (Illegal content is hard deleted by a central team though.)
