@caseyliss I've got these Inovelli Z-Wave switches that have an integrated LED. I make the LED pulse red when the house security system is armed, which prevents accidentally setting it off by opening a door without disarming it first.

(They seem to also make Zigbee & Thread/Matter versions)

@caseyliss I also have some of these HomeSeer switches which have a row of LEDs, just like you're looking for. I don't do anything with the LEDs, but you can set each one individually to a different color via Home Assistant.

@dinomite oh shit this looks *really* interesting

@caseyliss I haven’t ever tried to set the LEDs via HA, I’ll see if it works tomorrow

@dinomite I'd love to hear, however, it seems it's not available at the moment though. :(

@caseyliss Mine are the older HS-WD200+. I hadn't ever played with those status LEDs, but they're easy to use in Home Assistant and update instantly. Each of the 7 LEDs can be any of the colors shown (bottom up: red, green, blue, magenta, yellow, cyan, white).

@dinomite shit this looks really good.

Unavailable on Amazon though. :(

@caseyliss @dinomite I also use the HS WD200+, I ordered them directly from homeseer, they’re a small company and things ship from NH and come pretty quick on the east coast.

I use the LEDs to track status of the house, like doors open/closed and whether it’s trash day.

@caseyliss the Inovelli switches mentioned in the first post should be available. I use them and am a fan. I've been out of pocket but was going to be my rec
