I’m not sure people quite grasp how much of the crypto world is reacting to the Trump memecoin launches.

Creating a bunch of memecoins and defi protocols opens the possibility to rampant violations of the emoluments clause. Not to mention the obvious COI given the fact that trump can set crypto policy.

@molly0xfff i particularly like this "opens the door to" take -- no shit, dude, that's the point: to throw the door wide open to foreign/sanctioned influences. the grift is the point, as it is with 99.9999% of crypto.
