I was surprised to learn that the main ballroom at had been partitioned into a masked gaming room and an unmasked gaming room. This means to browse game selections, or find games to play, you have to venture into the bad room.

And my friends keep winding up in that room. This is just compounding the feelings of isolationism from the “fuck you, fuck my health, fuck your health” zeitgeist.

I don’t think I’ll be attending next year. “The last convention where masks are required” was the biggest selling point.
