After wrestling w/ an issue today & eventually getting it to work, I asked ChatGPT how to solve it. While the answer it gave was wrong, it would have cut my sleuthing time by about half by getting me in the right ballpark.
I do this a lot, and as much as ppl crap on it for not always being right, I find more often than not it'd have at least removed a few rounds of WTFing.
Excited to see how far things have progressed by this time next year.
One could ask - why don't I just start with ChatGPT? Answer is that I don't trust it yet. I'm still afraid that it'll send me on some mega wild goose chase that makes all the other saved time not worth it.
But it's getting there, in terms of my trust.
