@hachyderm I think your path of handling threads was/is very wise and thoughtful.

@hachyderm I appreciate the fact that you all were deliberate about the choice, but this may now mean I need to move on & find a new server. I follow some good people on Threads who seemingly have no interest in the Fediverse so now, my experience is now worse for the change. That doesn't mean I think you were wrong, but the choice was wrong for me, but maybe right for many others…

Before making any changes, I'm going to see if I can replicate my old follows possibly with BlueSky or some such. I am concerned about where Threads (and Meta in general) is heading, I just don't want to lose access permanently to the journalists, filmmakers & actors that I can no longer see…
