I forget who it was (and didn't bookmark the post) who coined or at least introduced me to the Latin abbreviation, "etm." which stands for et merda, and translates to "and shit," but I am gratefully passing it on to you.
I really really want to see this somewhere mainstream someday.
@jvw when I did defense contracting in 2008, I wrote papers and gave presentations instead of writing code, and we discovered that the civilian employees of other contractors on our projects liked to repeat "big" words we said in meetings if enough of us used the word. I'm pretty sure we could have gotten them to say "et merda".
