Ah, the dilemma: My machine is 4yo, and I replace on a 4-6 year cycle. So…get one of the (presumably very fine) new MBP 16s, or hold out for major case design improvements that may not actually arrive any time soon?
(I assume the odds of them figuring out how to get rid of the notch in the next 24 months are somewhere between zero and epsilon.)

@inthehands Case design unlikely to change in the short term. It changed late last year with a “the new new” sort of push.
For buying a new machine I’d worry more about whether M3 or a tech iteration will arrive.
